9.00am – Our guide meets you by the ship.
9.00 – 10.15am – Going to Kronshtadt town – one of the main naval bases of the Baltic fleet. Kronshtadt town is situated on Kotlin island in the Gulf of Finland. It was closed for the visitors for a long time and the only way to reach it was by water. Nowadays it is open to all the visitors. It is reach in history and interesting places.
10.15- 11.45am – City tour of Kronshtadt town.
11.45am – 12.30pm – Drive back to the city.
12.30 – 1.15pm – Lunch/Coffee break at the local café (optional). The cost of food and drinks is not included into the tour price.
1.30 – 2.30pm – Metro ride. St. Petersburg metro (subway) is one of the deepest ones in the world. But it is also famous for the decoration of its stations. During the ride you will be able to see the most beautiful and interesting stations.
3.00 – 4.00pm – A Tour along Rivers and Canals of Saint-Petersburg. Boat trips along the city’s rivers and canals have lately gained a great popularity. The navigation season in St. Petersburg lasts from April till October. The covered cabins of boats allow having such trips in any weather. This is a 1-hour tour by boat. It is a very nice opportunity to take excellent photos from the water
4.30 – 6.30pm – Dinner in a Russian Family for small groups up to 7 people/Dinner in a Russian Restaurant for big groups from 8 people. It is a nice opportunity to meet local family, to see where and how the family lives and also to try Russian traditional food. During the meal you can find out about people’s life and compare it to yours.
6.30- 7.15pm – Drive back to the ship.
9.00 – 12.00am – City tour of St. Petersburg with the visit the farmers’ market. Within the City Tour will see such places as Point of the Basil Island, Palace Square with famous Winter Palace, Academy of Fine Arts, Arts Square, Catherine’s Garden, St. Isaac’s Square, Bronze Horseman. At the most beautiful places the guide will supply you with more information and will offer you to make a stop for taking photos. You will also visit one of functioning churches of St. Petersburg (e.g. Naval (St. Nicolas) Cathedral).
11.45am – 12.45pm – The coffee break at the Soviet little café, called “Pyshechnayay” with hot coffee and very delicious buns called “pyshki” is included. A visit of famous St. Petersburg courtyards.
12.45 -1.30pm – A stroll along the main street of our city – Nevskiy Prospekt. Visit of a famous Eliseev shop to admire its illumination and a variety of food it offers.
1.30 – 2.10pm – Church on the Spilt Blood inside tour. Church on the Spilt Blood was created in the best traditions of Russian art of the 14th – 17th centuries and stands out among all St. Petersburg churches by its distinct national appearance. It was made in 1883-1907 on the spot where on March 1st, 1881, the terrorist mortally wounded Alexander II.
2.25 – 3.15pm – Summer Garden visit. It is one year younger than the city. It was founded in 1704 by the order of Peter the Great. The garden has fountains. Only one building here has survived here from Peter’s time – Peter the Great’s Summer Palace. It is a popular place among local people.
3.30 – 4.30pm – Inside tour of Russian Vodka Museum + Vodka Tasting. The museum is located in the center of the city not far from St Isaac’s Square. It is the first in Russia, and even in the world, museum that tells its visitors about the drink that has become the integral part of our life and holidays. Within this tour you will know the history of vodka and Russian drinking traditions. You will participate in the ceremony of drinking vodka and will be taught how to drink it correctly and what to eat with it.
5.00pm – You are back at your ship.
