Coronavirus situation in Russia today:
Our Ministry of Health and Social Policy has confirmed 850,870 cases of coronavirus in Russia for today and 14,128 deaths. More than 650,000 people have recovered. In eighty regions of our country the situation is considered to become stable or even better. In five Russian regions new cases still appear but not very many. Serhey Sobyanin, Moscow Mayor, said that in Moscow the level of coronavirus cases per day has come to its lowest level.
For today in Saint-Petersburg we have 31,785 people infected, among them there are 23,552 people who recovered and a bit more than 2,000 people who died. Every day from 14,000 to 19,000 people are tested for coronavirus. Both Moscow and Saint-Petersburg are gradually coming back to their normal life – it is allowed to leave homes, to use the public transport, all the shops are open, people go to work, visit cafes, bars and restaurants.
We really hope that from September all the students will be allowed to go to schools and other educational establishments.
